Is my contract data private? Do you train AI on my contracts?
No — your contracts are never used to train AI. Documents are anonymized before processing, and CARMAI™ runs as an add-in inside Microsoft Word. Your data stays yours; this is not a freemium model where your data is the product. See our Privacy Policy.
Does CARMAI™ work on both Windows and Mac?
Yes. CARMAI™ is a Microsoft Word add-in plus a web platform (the WebUI), and works with the Windows and Mac versions of Word and Microsoft 365.
What is the difference between CARMA™ and CARMAI™?
CARMA™ is the framework — Compliance, Auditing, Risk, Management, Alignment — the methodology for governing contracts. CARMAI™ is the software that operationalizes it inside Microsoft Word and the WebUI. The manuals teach CARMA™; CARMAI™ puts it to work.
What is Integris™ scoring?
Integris™ is the governance score produced by the CARMA™ audit — a single number graded 1.0–3.0 across five dimensions, rolled up at the obligation, contract, and portfolio levels. Red 1.0–2.0, Yellow 2.0–2.5, Green 2.5–3.0.
How does the free trial and pricing work?

Is there a certification?
Yes — the CARMA™ Specialist Certification. Master the framework through the manuals and CARMAcademy™ training, then earn the credential that proves your team can run the system.
Do I need to install any infrastructure?
No. CARMAI™ is Microsoft-native — it runs as an add-in in your existing Microsoft Word. The Plugin edition is session-based with no database required; the Professional and Self-hosted editions add the full governance platform when you want it.
